Kawther Haciane is a Principal at EY, specializing in Digital Risk within Risk Consulting. With over 20 years of international experience, she has developed knowledge in managing complex technological environments and mitigating risks in several sectors. Her career spans across multiple industries, including oil and gas, financial services, health care and IT consulting. Kawther’s dedication to Digital Risk has seen her in pivotal roles such as CISO of National Bank of Canada and Air Transat. She has also led IBM Security business in the Gulf and Levant.

Rui Bastos
Rui Bastos is a Partner at EY’s Risk Consulting Practice, specializing in Risk and Digital Transformation. With over 25 years of international experience, he has led large-scale programs in Business Assurance, Regulatory Compliance, IT Advisory, Cybersecurity, and Data Analytics. Throughout his career, Rui has worked across multiple industries including Oil & Gas, Telecom, Financial Services, Life Sciences, Consumer Retail, and the Public Sector, supporting global organizations such as ARAMCO, Shell, BP, ADNOC, and Reliance Industries.
Before joining EY, Rui held senior leadership roles such as Chief Digital Officer, Chief Information Officer, Chief Risk Officer, and Chief Internal Auditor in Fortune 100 companies. His expertise spans corporate governance frameworks, risk-based audit programs, digital transformation, and integrated GRC implementations.
