Hatem is the Risk Consulting Partner at EY Qatar, bringing over 20 years of international experience in corporate governance, risk, and technology consulting. He previously led Mazars Qatar’s consulting practice and served as Chief Internal Auditor at Nakilat, one of the largest LNG maritime operators. His expertise spans multiple sectors, including energy, ICT, financial services, and the public sector. Hatem has also held key risk and audit roles at BP in the UK and Qatar Energy LNG in Qatar.

Actively engaged in the risk and audit community, Hatem chairs the IRM Doha Chapter and is a member of the IIA. He is the founder and current leader of the Doha Chief Audit Executive Forum, fostering collaboration among audit leaders.
